( LEVELING SYSTEM )
The leveling system is quite easy to understand. If for some reason you can not understand, message me!
SINGLE BATTLES
Tie/Surrender: No one gains a level.
Switched Out Pok?mon: If a Pok?mon is switched out, it only gains one level if their party won. When a Pok?mon is switched in it gains it's levels normally.
Winner Is Four Levels Lower (or more) Than Loser:
Winner gains four levels.
Opponent is between 4 levels lower and 4 levels Higher:
Winner gains two levels. The loser gains one.
Winner is 3 or more levels higher than opponent:
Both Pok?mon only gain one level.
DOUBLE BATTLES
Tie/Give Up:
No one gains a level.
Switch Out:
Switched out Pok?mon gains two levels if their party is the victor. When a Pok?mon is switched in it gains levels normally.
This explanation of Double Battling from Pok?mon Torrenta.Explanation on double battles:
Growlithe lv.8, Machop lv.6, and Abra lv.5 VS. Magikarp lv.7, Bagon lv.2, and Shellder lv.10
Growlithe, Machop, and Abra ALL hit Magikarp. KO.
They all gain two levels because the magikarp was between level 5-11.
Machop hits Bagon. KO.
Machop gains the one level due to the Pok?mon being lower than 3 levels lower than his level. The bagon would have had to be level 3 to gain 2 levels.
Abra hits Shellder. Shellder retaliates, Abra faints.
Shellder gains one level. Once again, the Abra would have had to been level 8 for the Shellder to gain two levels.
simple.
Any Pok?mon hitting a Pok?mon prior to a Pok?mon fainted gains levels. So if two level 8 Pok?mon both gang up on a single level 8 Pok?mon and it faints after the first two Pok?mon successfully hit, they will gain their respective 2 levels.
max three levels, just like simple battle. you die, you get one level. just like simple battle. you only get a level if you actually participated. just like simple battle.
Thank you Torrenta! For explaining something I can't.
