No New Posts Mt. Tundaria

A natural phenomenon, Mt. Tundaria appears to have been flash-frozen. Scientists are at a loss to explain the cause, yet as a result the volcano is now safe to explore…to a point. Magma still shifts beneath the surface and, whilst the caverns beneath the volcano extend for miles, it is not safe to explore any deeper than the fourth floor, due to the increasingly high temperatures and unstable ground: whilst eruptions are a thing of the past, minor tectonic shifts are a regular occurrence, and make exploring underground a hazardous venture. There are a variety of Pokémon here, including several fire-types below ground, and whilst many are aggressive, none of them should be beyond a competent trainer’s ability to cope with. Rumour tells of a Hot Spring located somewhere within the mountain, although thus far none have been able to find it…

No New Posts Tundaria Pass

A long, narrow passageway between two thick walls of ice. Tundaria Pass can only be traversed during the day, and in fair weather: the blinding snowstorms and extreme cold will drive even the most determined traveller back, forcing them to wait it out. The Pokémon within the passageway are extremely powerful and violent, being only those able to survive in such bleak conditions; the number is not large, for even in the midst of summer temperatures are below freezing, sufficient to lull any into the sleep of the dead. In anticipation of the needs of travellers, several log cabins have been built at regular intervals along the route, allowing those who need it to rest until they are able to continue onwards, although these provide scant comfort in the midst of storms, and many are difficult to locate, being buried in snowfall. Avalanches in the pass are uncommon, yet not entirely unheard of, so caution is advised.

No New Posts Tundaria Fields

The Tundaria Fields are the easiest part of the snowier regions of Vermella to traverse: the snow is thick, and the cold is biting be it day or night, yet there is little danger of avalanches or snowstorms. The milder conditions also make this place favoured by a greater variety of Pokémon, although they are by no means easier to handle than those that dwell within the harsher locations. Snowmobiles can be rented to cross the snowfields to reach the volcano faster, yet at the cost of driving away the wild Pokémon. However, in the winter months, this is perhaps a price worth paying…

Board Description
Tundaria Highlands
Unfortunately for aspiring trainers, the Cap Mountain Range is but the tip of the iceberg...a rather large iceberg they will need to cross in order to reach the final city. A struggle to reach the next destination becomes a struggle to survive, as temperatures plummet and all vision beyond a few feet is obscured...welcome to the Tundaria Highlands.
